PICKLE YETI
Privacy policy
Effective 8 October 2026. Applies to every game published by Pickle Yeti, the studio name of independent developer Ildyakov ("I", "me") on the App Store and Google Play, currently: Barstool Brawl.
Summary
- The games have no accounts and don't ask for your name, email or contacts.
- Game progress and settings stay on your device.
- The games are free and show ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some data to show and measure those ads, as described below.
- You can refuse personalised ads and tracking. The games work the same either way.
Data stored on your device
Progress, unlocked items, scores and settings (sound, visual effects) are saved locally on your device. They are not sent to me. Deleting the game deletes them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The games use the Google Mobile Ads SDK. When an ad is requested, Google may collect and process:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers: advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS, only if you allow tracking), app-set ID | Advertising, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement |
| IP address and the approximate location derived from it | Showing ads relevant to your region, fraud prevention |
| Ad interactions (impressions, taps), app launches | Measurement, analytics, fraud prevention |
| Diagnostics (crash logs, performance data) | Keeping the SDK working |
This data is processed by Google under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. I don't receive data that identifies you personally. AdMob only gives me aggregated reports, such as the number of ads shown.
Your choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: on first launch a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) asks whether ads may be personalised. You can change your answer any time in the game's Settings → Privacy options.
- US states with privacy laws: you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information through the same Privacy options screen when it is shown.
- iOS: the game asks for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, your IDFA is not shared and ads are not personalised with it. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads).
Leaderboards
If a game offers an online leaderboard, it uses Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). Your scores are then shown under your Game Center or Play Games nickname, under Apple's or Google's terms. I don't collect free-text names.
Children
The games are not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA), and Barstool Brawl is rated 18+ / Mature. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used a game and want data removed, contact me.
Data retention and your rights
I hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for me to delete or export. To exercise your rights over data processed by Google (access, deletion, objection), use the links above or Google's My Ad Center. For any question, email support@pickleyeti.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example because a game adds a new service, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
